As a wedding photographer, one of the questions I get asked the most is “So, what do I do about (fill in the blank) I’ve never done this before…”

When it comes to the imagery of your wedding and any related shoots, I can be as involved – or not involved – as you want. I love planning for weddings and events, and I’m quite opinionated, so I’ll always have input if you want it. For your engagement session, I can help choose a fantastic location that highlights you as a couple, or help decide what to wear. Or, if you’re wanting to do a more styled shoot I can help with styling and getting items. When it comes to your wedding day, I have a number of vendors I can refer you to if need be. We can share inspiration boards on Pinterest. You can send me color swatches for your flowers. Heck, I’d even go to try on gowns if invited!
But, I don’t HAVE to do any of those things.

The day of your wedding, my job is to photograph your day as completely and honestly as possible. I know how important it is to capture the emotion of your day. I also know how hard you worked on selecting everything, and somehow having it represent you and your fiancé(e). And I know that you want to be able to have time to celebrate and enjoy your day. I schedule my day with you so that I have enough time to fit all of these things in, and not have it feel like a really long photo shoot, and aim to capture all of the important moments of your day as unobtrusively as possible.

So yes, I can help you choose an engagement location. Yes, I can help you choose an engagement outfit. Yes, I can help you pose. But above all else, my goal is to photograph you as you, and document your engagement and wedding as beautifully and fully as possible.
